Royal Metal Fest, which is set to take place at Radar in Århus on September 13th and September 14th, has added two Danish bands in the shape of the technical death metal unit He Who Saw The Abyss and the melodic death metal ensemble MurderCell to its 2024 line-up.

Kyiv, Ukraine-resident symphonic, progressive metallers Ignea have shared an in-studio live performance of their track “Camera Obscura” below. It is found on their latest studio album “Dreams of Lands Unseen”, which came out through Napalm Records in 2023.
Rivers Of Nihil have debuted a new video single titled “Criminals” below. It is the third piece of material to emerge from the Reading, PA-based progressive death metal faction since their latest studio album “The Work”, which came out through Metal Blade Records in 2021.
Gaerea has unleashed a new video single dubbed “World Ablaze”, which you can check out below. It is expected to be part of the Portuguese black metal group’s next studio album, the details around which are, however, yet to be disclosed by their record label Season of Mist.
Danish fans can look forward to watching the band live at this year’s edition of A Colossal Weekend in Copenhagen on Thursday, May 16th.
